2026 Cadillac CT5 for Sale in Austin

Two trims, one turbocharged four-cylinder, standard hands-free driving, and a starting price that undercuts the German sedans it is cross-shopped against.

2026 Cadillac CT5 luxury sedan for sale at Covert Cadillac Bee Cave in Austin, Texas

The 2026 Cadillac CT5 arrives in two trims — Premium Luxury from $49,200 and Sport from $50,200 — both carrying a 237-horsepower turbocharged four-cylinder, both offering all-wheel drive, and both including Super Cruise hands-free driver assistance as standard equipment. That last point is worth sitting with. Hands-free highway driving is an option costing thousands on rivals, and on the CT5 it is simply there on the entry car, which changes what a commute up MoPac or a run out Loop 360 actually feels like on a weekday morning.

We are Covert Cadillac Bee Cave, and we stock the CT5 alongside the rest of the sedan family. This page covers the engine, the two trims and what separates them, the cabin technology, interior and trunk space, the safety suite, and which configuration makes sense for which driver. Deeper detail lives on the rest of the CT5 buyers guide, and the two V-Series cars have pages of their own.

Powertrain

2026 Cadillac CT5 Engines and Powertrain Options

2.0L Twin-Scroll Turbocharged Four-Cylinder — Standard

Standard on both trims is Cadillac’s 2.0L twin-scroll turbocharged four-cylinder, rated at 237 horsepower with a Cadillac-estimated 258 lb-ft of torque on premium gasoline, driving through a 10-speed automatic transmission. Rear-wheel drive is standard; all-wheel drive is available on either trim. Cadillac lists 6.6 seconds to 60 mph for the rear-drive car and 6.9 seconds with all-wheel drive, which is the pace that makes an on-ramp merge onto MoPac or I-35 an easy, unbothered thing on a weekday morning.

Where the V-Series Cars Sit

The CT5-V and the CT5-V Blackwing are not trims of this car. They are separate models with separate powertrains — a twin-turbocharged 3.0L V6 in the CT5-V, and a supercharged 6.2L V8 in the CT5-V Blackwing. Each gets its own page here, and the full lineup is broken down on the engines and performance page rather than repeated across the site.

Trims and Pricing

2026 Cadillac CT5 Trim Lineup and Pricing

CT5 Premium Luxury — From $49,200

The entry car, and not a stripped one. Premium Luxury rides on 18-inch aluminum alloy wheels in a Bright Silver finish, and it includes heated, ventilated and massaging front seats, the 33-inch Horizon Display with Google built-in, an AKG Studio Audio System, and Super Cruise with a three-year OnStar plan. All-wheel drive is available. The Radiant Package, a dealer-installed accessory, is offered on Premium Luxury.

CT5 Sport — From $50,200

A thousand dollars over Premium Luxury buys presentation and hardware rather than power. Sport wears 19-inch alloy wheels in a Pearl Nickel finish, a performance aero black mesh grille, black window moldings, rocker extensions and a rear spoiler, with Inteluxe seating surfaces and carbon fiber interior trim inside. Brembo front brakes are available as V-Performance Brakes with red or blue calipers. All-wheel drive is available here too, and the engine is the same 2.0L turbo four.

Trim Starting MSRP Standard Wheels Drivetrain
Premium Luxury $49,200 18-inch aluminum alloy, Bright Silver RWD standard, AWD available
Sport $50,200 19-inch alloy, Pearl Nickel RWD standard, AWD available

MSRP excludes destination freight charge, tax, title, license, dealer fees, and optional equipment. Dealer sets final price.

A trim-by-trim walk, including where the V-Series cars slot in, lives on the CT5 trims compared page.

Cabin Technology

Technology and Connectivity

The centerpiece is the 33-inch Horizon Display, standard on both trims, running Google built-in. It is a luxury infotainment system that does not demand a tutorial. On a Hill Country two-lane it stays out of the way; on the interstate it does the work. Cadillac pairs it with an AKG Studio Audio System, and with Super Cruise — the hands-free system that works on a mapped network of compatible highways, which in Central Texas means the interstate corridors and much of the loop system rather than a farm-to-market road. Cadillac counts more than sixteen safety and driver assistance features across the car. The full breakdown is on the technology and safety page.

Cabin

Interior and Comfort

Five seats, 42.4 inches of front legroom, and 37.9 inches in the rear. Premium Luxury brings heated, ventilated and massaging front seats as standard; Sport swaps in Inteluxe surfaces and carbon fiber trim for a harder-edged read on the same cabin. Neither is a stretched-out limousine in back, and neither pretends to be — the CT5 is a driver’s sedan with a usable second row, which is the right trade for the people who buy one.

Space

Cargo and Passenger Space

The trunk holds 11.9 cubic feet. That is a weekend on the San Marcos River for two, a full week of groceries, or a set of golf clubs with room beside them; it is not a furniture run. The car measures 193.8 inches long on a 116-inch wheelbase, stands 57.2 inches tall and 80.3 inches wide with the mirrors out, with 4 inches of ground clearance — low enough that steep driveway aprons deserve a moment’s attention. Every dimension and capacity is tabulated on the specs and dimensions page.

Driver Assistance

Safety and Driver Assistance

Cadillac equips the 2026 CT5 with more than sixteen safety and driver assistance features. The headline is Super Cruise, standard on both trims with its three-year OnStar plan — hands-free driving on compatible mapped roads, with a driver attention camera that keeps you accountable for watching the road even when you are not steering. Driver Attention Assist is available. Long stretches of interstate — a Hill Country weekend, the run north through Round Rock and Georgetown — are where the system stops being a novelty and starts being the reason you bought the car.

The Decision

Which 2026 Cadillac CT5 Is Right for You?

Both trims share an engine, so this is a decision about presentation, wheels and brakes — not about speed.

Cheapest way into a new Cadillac sedanCT5 Premium Luxury, rear-wheel drive. Massaging seats, the big display and Super Cruise, all standard.
Daily commuter who wants the assist tech to earn its keepPremium Luxury with all-wheel drive. Same standard Super Cruise, added traction for wet mornings.

Why Buy the 2026 Cadillac CT5 at Covert Cadillac Bee Cave

We are at 16501 Sweetwater Village Dr, Building 2, where the city gives way to the Hill Country, and we sell the whole CT5 family rather than one slice of it — which means you can drive a Premium Luxury and a Sport back to back on the same afternoon and stop guessing about the nineteen-inch wheels. It is worth the drive from Round Rock if that is the question keeping you from ordering. Sales reaches us at (512) 900-7062. Summers here run long and hot enough that ventilated seats stop reading as a luxury item and start reading as equipment, which is worth remembering when you are deciding how to option the car. Browse the CT5 inventory, or schedule a test drive and we will have one ready.

Questions

2026 Cadillac CT5 Frequently Asked Questions

How many trim levels does the 2026 Cadillac CT5 have?

Two. Cadillac offers the 2026 CT5 in Premium Luxury and Sport. Premium Luxury is the entry trim, and Sport sits above it. The CT5-V and CT5-V Blackwing are separate V-Series models rather than trims of the standard car.

What engine comes standard in the 2026 Cadillac CT5?

A 2.0L twin-scroll turbocharged four-cylinder rated at 237 horsepower, with a Cadillac-estimated 258 lb-ft of torque on premium gasoline, paired with a 10-speed automatic. It is standard on both trims.

Is all-wheel drive available on the 2026 CT5?

Yes. Rear-wheel drive is standard on both trims, and all-wheel drive is available on both trims.

Which 2026 CT5 trims include Super Cruise?

Yes. Super Cruise hands-free driver assistance is standard on both trims, and it arrives with a three-year OnStar plan. It is not standard equipment on every car in the CT5 family, so check the specific V-Series model you are considering.

How quick is the 2026 Cadillac CT5 to 60 mph?

Cadillac lists 6.6 seconds for the rear-wheel-drive CT5 and 6.9 seconds for the all-wheel-drive version.

Can the 2026 Cadillac CT5 tow?

We do not recommend towing with it. The CT5 is a rear-drive luxury sedan, not a tow vehicle, and Cadillac sells it as one. If you need to pull a trailer, look at an Escalade or an XT6 instead.

Will the CT5 trunk hold a weekend for two?

11.9 cubic feet, comfortably. It seats five, and the same trunk carries across the CT5-V and the Blackwing.
