2026 Cadillac CT5-V for Sale in Austin

A twin-turbocharged V6, Brembo brakes, magnetic dampers and standard hands-free driving — the V-Series car you can commute in.

Cadillac CT5-V sport sedan for sale at Covert Cadillac Bee Cave in Austin, Texas

The 2026 Cadillac CT5-V starts from $58,300, excluding destination, and answers the one question the standard CT5 Sport leaves open: what if the fast-looking car were actually fast. Where Sport buys wheels and aero, the V buys a 360-horsepower twin-turbocharged V6, Brembo front brakes, Magnetic Ride Control and Launch Control — hardware, not garnish. It is also the V-Series car that still makes sense on a Monday, because Super Cruise is standard equipment rather than a line item.

This is the CT5-V page at Covert Cadillac Bee Cave. It covers what the V adds, its own engine and chassis, its price and packages, and who should buy it instead of a Sport or a Blackwing. It deliberately does not repeat the family’s shared cabin, dimensions or safety content — that lives once, on the shared spokes, and this page links to it. Start at the CT5 and CT5-V buyers guide if you want the whole family in one place.

The Differential

What the CT5-V Adds Over the CT5 Sport

The standard CT5, in either trim, runs a 237-horsepower turbocharged four-cylinder. Sport dresses that car in nineteen-inch wheels and an aero package and offers Brembo front brakes as an option. The CT5-V replaces the engine, and then makes the hardware standard: Brembo performance front brakes, Magnetic Ride Control, Launch Control, nineteen-inch aluminum wheels in a Satin Graphite finish. Super Cruise, standard on every CT5, carries a three-year OnStar One plan here. The AKG system grows to fifteen speakers. What you are buying is a mechanically different car wearing the same body.

The full ladder, from the entry sedan through the Blackwing, is laid out on the CT5 trims compared page.

Powertrain

2026 CT5-V Engine and Drivetrain

A 3.0L twin-turbocharged V6, rated at 360 horsepower and 405 lb-ft of torque on premium gasoline, driving through a 10-speed automatic transmission. Rear-wheel drive is the standard configuration and all-wheel drive is available. That torque figure is the number that matters in I-35 traffic, where a mid-range shove is worth more than a peak horsepower headline, and on the climb out of the Lake Travis basin where the V6 simply does not need to downshift.

Every engine in the family — the four, this V6, and the Blackwing’s supercharged V8 — is compared side by side on the engines and performance page.

Hardware

CT5-V Chassis and Hardware

Brembo performance front brakes are standard on the CT5-V. So is Magnetic Ride Control, the damper system that reads the road surface and adjusts continuously — the reason this car can be firm on a back road out toward New Braunfels without punishing you on the concrete slabs of the interstate. Launch Control is standard. Nineteen-inch aluminum wheels in Satin Graphite are the standard fitment. An Enhanced Performance Data Recorder is available if you intend to use a track.

Note what is not on this list: rear Brembos, carbon ceramics and the track-focused chassis package belong to the CT5-V Blackwing, not to this car.

Price

CT5-V Pricing and Packages

Cadillac offers the CT5-V with the Platinum and Technology packages, an Onyx package, and Bronze, Red and Blue accent packages. The Sedona Sauvage semi-aniline leather interior with carbon fiber trim is offered on the CT5-V. Ask us what is actually on the ground before you configure one — current CT5-V inventory answers that faster than a build sheet does, and a trade appraisal tells you what the move really costs.

Placement

Where the CT5-V Sits in the CT5 Lineup

Below it: the 2026 Cadillac CT5, a four-cylinder luxury sedan in two trims. Above it: the CT5-V Blackwing, a supercharged V8 with a standard manual gearbox and limited availability. The CT5-V is the middle of a three-car family, and the middle is where much of the argument happens. Buyers coming up from San Marcos or down from Temple tend to arrive undecided between exactly these two.

We sell all three, so we have no stake in which one you pick. The CT5 vs CT5-V vs Blackwing comparison is written neutral for exactly that reason. Shared cabin technology and the driver-assistance suite are covered once on the technology and safety page; measurements live on the specs and dimensions page.

The Decision

Which Buyer Should Choose the CT5-V?

Wants a quick sedan that commutes without complaintCT5-V, rear-wheel drive. Standard Super Cruise makes the boring miles disappear.
Wants the V6 and drives in weatherCT5-V with all-wheel drive.
Occasional track day, no interest in shiftingCT5-V with the available Enhanced Performance Data Recorder.
Wants the look, not the hardware → the CT5 Sport saves real money and shares the body.
Wants a manual gearbox and a V8 → the CT5-V Blackwing, understanding that Super Cruise there is bundled with the 10-speed automatic.

Long, hot summers make a ventilated seat and a cooled cabin functional equipment rather than luxury garnish, which is worth weighing when you configure a car you will sit in every August. Customers drive in from New Braunfels and back from a weekend at Lake Travis to compare a CT5-V and a Sport in the same afternoon, which is the honest way to decide between them. Schedule a test drive and we will have both keys ready.

Questions

What is the difference between the CT5-V and the CT5-V Blackwing?

Different engines and different missions. The CT5-V uses the twin-turbocharged V6 with an automatic transmission. The CT5-V Blackwing uses a supercharged V8, comes standard with a six-speed manual, and adds rear Brembo brakes and a track-focused package.
