Pricing & Availability

Pricing and Availability

How much does the 2026 Cadillac Escalade IQ cost?

The 2026 Escalade IQ starts at around $128,000 for the base Luxury trim with destination included, and the lineup tops out at about $151,000 for the Premium Sport. Pricing sits between independent sources, so treat these as ballpark figures rather than exact numbers; destination is included, but tax, title, license, and any options are not. The dealer sets the final price. For an exact, current quote on a specific trim and equipment, see the all trims compared guide or contact our Austin store.

How much does the Escalade IQL cost?

The longer Escalade IQL runs a few thousand dollars more than the standard IQ across the lineup. The base Luxury trim starts at roughly $131,000 with destination, and the top Premium Sport reaches about $153,000. As with the IQ, published figures vary slightly between sources and the dealer sets the final price, so use these as a guide and ask us for an exact quote. The IQL shares the IQ’s powertrain and trim names; you are paying mainly for the extra length, rear-passenger room, and cargo space. Our IQ vs IQL comparison lays the two body styles side by side.

Is the 2026 Escalade IQ available now?

Yes. The 2026 model year is the Escalade IQ’s second year on the market, and both the IQ and the extended IQL are in production and reaching dealers now. Build it on Cadillac’s site or check our live Austin inventory for what is on the ground and en route. One common point of confusion: the all-electric IQ and IQL are separate from the gas-powered V8 Escalade and Escalade ESV, which Cadillac continues to sell alongside them. If you want the traditional V8 SUV rather than the EV, that is a different model. Browse current Escalade IQ inventory to see availability.

Does the Escalade IQ qualify for the federal EV tax credit?

No. The federal clean-vehicle purchase credit of up to $7,500 ended for vehicles acquired after September 30, 2025 under the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, so a new Escalade IQ or IQL purchased in 2026 does not earn that federal credit. Even while the credit existed, the Escalade IQ’s price was well above the $80,000 cap that applied to SUVs, so it would not have qualified regardless. State, local, and utility programs change often and may still help in some cases, so it is worth checking current programs, and our team can walk you through financing and lease options. This is general information, not tax advice; confirm your situation with a tax professional.

On the Road

Range, Charging and Performance

How far can the Escalade IQ go on a charge?

Cadillac estimates up to 465 miles of range for the standard-length Escalade IQ and up to 460 miles for the longer IQL, both drawing on a 205-kWh battery pack. These are Cadillac estimates rather than EPA ratings; because the IQ weighs more than 9,000 pounds, it is not classed as a light-duty vehicle, so it does not carry the official EPA range label that lighter EVs do. Real-world range depends on speed, weather, terrain, and how you drive. Our range, charging and performance guide has the full breakdown of range, efficiency, and charging.

How fast does the Escalade IQ charge, and can it use Tesla Superchargers?

The Escalade IQ uses an 800-volt architecture, and Cadillac says it can add up to about 117 miles of range in roughly 10 minutes on a DC fast charger, up from the 100-mile figure cited for the 2025 model. At home, the base Luxury and Sport trims include an 11.5-kW onboard charger, while the Premium Luxury and Premium Sport step up to a 19.2-kW unit for faster home charging. The IQ has a CCS fast-charging port, and with the available GM-approved NACS adapter it can access the Tesla Supercharger network, which adds tens of thousands of fast-charging stalls to your options on a road trip.

How powerful is the Escalade IQ, and how quick is it?

Every Escalade IQ and IQL uses a dual-motor, all-wheel-drive setup that produces 680 horsepower and 615 lb-ft of torque in normal driving. Engaging the driver-selectable Velocity Max mode temporarily raises output to as much as 750 horsepower and 785 lb-ft. Cadillac estimates a 0-to-60-mph time of about 4.7 seconds in Velocity Max, which is striking for a vehicle that weighs over 9,000 pounds. Independent testing has clocked it just under 5 seconds. It is quick for its size, though dedicated performance EVs are quicker, and the IQ’s mass means it is built more for effortless, quiet cruising than for cornering.

How much can the Escalade IQ tow?

When properly equipped, the standard Escalade IQ is rated to tow up to 8,000 pounds, a figure that applies across all four trims. The longer IQL is rated slightly lower at up to 7,500 pounds. A trailer brake controller and a hitch receiver are standard, and Cadillac includes towing-focused driver aids such as Blind Zone Steering Assist with trailering. Keep in mind that towing significantly reduces driving range, as it does with any EV, so plan charging stops accordingly. Our range, charging and performance guide puts the towing numbers in context.

Cabin & Tech

Features and Technology

Does the Escalade IQ have Super Cruise?

Yes. GM’s Super Cruise hands-free driver-assistance system is standard on every Escalade IQ and IQL trim, from the base Luxury up. On compatible, mapped highways it lets you drive hands-free while the system manages steering, speed, and lane keeping, and it can perform automatic lane changes. A trial of the Super Cruise and OnStar service plan is included with a new Escalade IQ; the length and renewal cost of that plan are set by Cadillac and are confirmed at purchase. Our technology and safety guide covers the full driver-assistance and safety suite.

Does the Escalade IQ have Apple CarPlay and Android Auto?

No. The Escalade IQ does not offer Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. Instead it runs Google built-in, so Google Maps, Google Assistant, and apps from the Google Play store are integrated directly into the vehicle, and the system does not require you to plug in or mirror your phone. All of it lives on a curved 55-inch pillar-to-pillar display. There are wireless charging pads up front and USB-C ports across all three rows, so phones still stay charged and connected. If built-in smartphone projection is a must-have for you, it is worth knowing this before you shop, since it is a deliberate design choice on Cadillac’s part.

How many people does it seat, and what tech is standard?

Both the IQ and IQL seat up to seven passengers across three rows. Standard equipment includes the 55-inch curved display, adaptive air suspension with Magnetic Ride Control, four-wheel steering, heated and ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel, heated second-row captain’s chairs, and a power-folding third row. The base Luxury and Sport trims come with a 21-speaker AKG audio system and 22-inch wheels. Stepping up to Premium Luxury or Premium Sport adds a 38-speaker AKG Studio Reference system with Dolby Atmos, Night Vision thermal imaging, massaging front seats, and 24-inch wheels. The smaller 22-inch wheels on the base trims actually give a slightly smoother ride.

IQ, IQL & Trims

Trim Differences

What is the difference between the Escalade IQ and IQL?

The IQL is the extended-length version of the Escalade IQ. It measures about 228.5 inches long versus 224.3 inches for the IQ, while both share the same 136.2-inch wheelbase, so the extra length is added behind the cabin for passengers and cargo. The payoff is meaningfully more third-row legroom, roughly 36.7 inches in the IQL against 32.3 inches in the IQ, which makes the back row far more comfortable for adults. Both seat up to seven and use the identical powertrain and trim lineup. The trade-offs for the IQL are a slightly lower 7,500-pound tow rating and a higher price. Our IQ vs IQL comparison walks through which one fits which buyer.

Which Escalade IQ trim should I choose?

There are four trims in both body styles: Luxury, Sport, Premium Luxury, and Premium Sport. Luxury is the well-equipped entry point, and Sport pairs the same mechanicals with bolder exterior styling. The two Premium trims add the 38-speaker AKG system, Night Vision, massaging front seats, 24-inch wheels, and the faster 19.2-kW home charger, for a notable jump in price. For many buyers the base Luxury or Sport already covers the core technology and comfort, and their 22-inch wheels ride a touch better, which makes them a strong value. The Premium trims are worth it if you specifically want the upgraded audio, Night Vision, and massaging seats. Our all trims compared guide breaks down each trim feature by feature.

Owning One

Service and Ownership

What warranty comes with the Escalade IQ, and is it reliable?

The Escalade IQ carries Cadillac’s standard coverage: a 4-year/50,000-mile bumper-to-bumper limited warranty, a 6-year/70,000-mile powertrain warranty, and an 8-year/100,000-mile warranty on the EV battery and propulsion components, plus roadside assistance. Because the IQ is new, with 2026 only its second model year, there is not yet a long-term reliability track record, and reviewers expect it to land in the GM average range. To date it has had one minor recall, to reset the radio so the electronic owner’s manual downloads correctly; that is a software fix, not a hardware defect. You can check any specific VIN for open recalls at nhtsa.gov. Our maintenance and reliability guide covers upkeep and cost to own.
