The 2026 Cadillac Escalade IQ is the brand’s full-size, all-electric flagship SUV, and 2026 adds a longer companion, the Escalade IQL. Both ride on GM’s BT1 platform with a 205-kWh battery and a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system rated at 680 horsepower, or up to 750 horsepower in Velocity Max. Cadillac estimates 460 miles of range, and a fast charger can add roughly 117 miles in about 10 minutes. Four trims are offered on each body style, from Luxury to Premium Sport. The IQ starts at $127,405 and the IQL at $130,405, both before the $2,895 destination charge. Standard Super Cruise, a 55-inch display, and up to 8,000 pounds of towing when properly equipped round out the lineup.
For Austin drivers, the appeal is range you can use. In Central Texas heat, with long highway gaps between fast chargers on a lake run out past Spicewood or a weekend drive up to Marble Falls, a real 460-mile cushion means you rarely plan a trip around a plug. The 2026 Escalade IQ starts at $127,405 for the Luxury trim and runs to $148,205 for the Premium Sport, all before the $2,895 destination charge. The longer Escalade IQL opens at $130,405 and tops out around $151,205 before destination. Both deliver a Cadillac-estimated 460 miles of range on a full charge from a 205-kWh battery. On a DC fast charger, the IQ adds about 117 miles and the IQL about 116 miles in roughly 10 minutes, which keeps longer Central Texas trips practical without long stops.
The IQL is the long-body version. It stretches 228.5 inches overall, about 4.2 inches longer than the 224.3-inch IQ, while keeping the same 136.2-inch wheelbase. That extra length adds roughly 4.4 inches of third-row legroom and about 6.3 cubic feet of cargo behind the second row. Power, range, and technology are otherwise the same.
Every Escalade IQ and IQL uses a dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup rated at 680 horsepower and 615 lb-ft of torque, with up to 750 horsepower and 785 lb-ft available in Velocity Max mode. That is enough to move the SUV from 0 to 60 mph in about 4.7 seconds, and it can tow up to 8,000 pounds when properly equipped.
Yes. GM Super Cruise hands-free driver assistance is standard across the Escalade IQ and IQL lineup, paired with a 55-inch pillar-to-pillar display and Google built-in. Higher Premium trims add features such as a 38-speaker AKG audio system and Night Vision.
