Detailed overview and research on the CT5, the CT5-V and the CT5-V Blackwing.

Orientation
The 2026 Cadillac CT5 is a rear-drive luxury sedan sold in two trims — Premium Luxury from $49,200 and Sport from $50,200 — alongside two separate V-Series models, the CT5-V from $58,300 and the CT5-V Blackwing from $98,900. Three engines run across the family: a 2.0L turbocharged four making 237 horsepower, a 3.0L twin-turbocharged V6 making 360 in the CT5-V and available on Premium Luxury, and a supercharged 6.2L V8 making 668 in the Blackwing. Super Cruise, Cadillac’s hands-free highway system, is standard on both CT5 trims and on the CT5-V. Drivers reach us from across Central Texas: up from Kyle and Lockhart, down from Burnet, and over from Fredericksburg on a Hill Country weekend.
Premium Luxury adds heated, ventilated and massaging front seats and the 33-inch Horizon Display with Google built-in. The CT5-V makes Brembo front brakes, Magnetic Ride Control and Launch Control standard. The Blackwing adds rear Brembos, an available carbon ceramic system, and a six-speed manual gearbox as standard equipment. The rear-drive CT5 is EPA-rated at 26 mpg combined; the Blackwing at 15. A Kyle commute and a Fredericksburg Saturday ask different things of the same car, which is why these overviews help you understand which is the best or you.
