The single-motor rear-drive OPTIQ makes 315 horsepower and 332 lb-ft, which is brisk rather than fast, and delivers it instantly the way electric vehicles do. The dual-motor all-wheel-drive version steps up to 440 horsepower and 498 lb-ft. The OPTIQ-V is a different proposition at 519 horsepower and 3.5 seconds to sixty with Launch Control.
One motor on the rear axle gives 315 horsepower, rear-wheel drive and 317 miles of rated range. Adding a second motor at the front makes it 440 horsepower and all-wheel drive, and rated range falls to 303 miles. The dual-motor setup is a $3,500 option on any of the four standard trims.
117 city, 93 highway and 105 combined MPGe in rear-wheel drive, and 110 city, 88 highway and 99 combined with all-wheel drive. On an electric vehicle the highway figure is the lower one, and since driving around Austin is highway-dominant, the highway number is the one that describes most of your miles.
Properly equipped, a standard OPTIQ is rated to tow 1,500 lbs, which covers a small utility trailer, a pair of jet skis or a lightweight teardrop camper. It is not rated for a boat of any size or a travel trailer. Towing is not available on the OPTIQ-V at all.

Nineteen. The AKG Studio audio system is standard on every trim including the $50,900 Luxury, with Dolby Atmos available. A nineteen-speaker system on the entry trim of a lineup is unusual and it is one of the strongest arguments for the car.
Yes, and it is standard on all five trims. The SkyGlass fixed panoramic roof comes with a power shade, and there is no fixed-metal-roof version to order by mistake. A black painted roof is a separate cosmetic option on the four non-V trims and is standard on the OPTIQ-V.

No. They are mechanically identical. The Sport costs $600 more and adds three appearance items: Obsidian Chrome exterior trim in place of Galvano Chrome, the Sport grille, and 20-inch wheels in Dark Android rather than Pearl Nickel. Powertrain, range, equipment and technology are the same on both.
It depends what you are buying. The V costs $13,800 more and gives you 519 horsepower instead of 315, all-wheel drive as standard, Continuous Damping Control adaptive dampers, a lowered suspension and six-piston Brembo front brakes. It costs you 39 miles of rated range and the tow rating entirely. Buy it for the chassis rather than the acceleration, because the adaptive dampers change how the car feels every single trip.
No. Every 2027 OPTIQ trim, the OPTIQ-V included, is upholstered in Cadillac’s Inteluxe leatherette. Genuine leather is not offered anywhere in the lineup, so moving up the ladder buys perforation, stitching and interior decor rather than a different seat material.
