It holds 26 cubic feet behind the second row and 57 with it folded, and tows 1,500 lbs properly equipped. This is the electric Cadillac that fits a normal garage and a normal budget without giving up the technology.

A 365-horsepower single motor as standard, or 515 horsepower with dual-motor all-wheel drive. It holds 28 cubic feet behind the second row and 60.8 with it folded, charges at up to 190 kW on a DC fast charger, and tows 3,500 lbs properly equipped. It shares the 33-inch Horizon Display, Google built-in and standard Super Cruise with the OPTIQ, and adds a 23-speaker AKG system from its Premium Luxury trim up. This is the one to buy when the extra room or the tow rating solves a real problem.

Range and MPGe are EPA figures: the OPTIQ’s from its 2026 certification, which carries over unchanged for 2027, and the LYRIQ’s from its 2026 certification, which is the model year Cadillac currently publishes. OPTIQ prices are the 2027 model year. Cadillac publishes the LYRIQ at the 2026 model year on its consumer site while the 2027 car is dealer-orderable, so LYRIQ pricing is confirmed against the specific vehicle and model year rather than printed here. All prices exclude taxes, title, registration and dealer fees. All-wheel drive adds $3,500 on any non-V OPTIQ trim.
Both Cases
Efficiency, decisively. 105 MPGe combined in rear-wheel drive against the LYRIQ’s 92 means the OPTIQ turns a kilowatt-hour into more miles, which is the figure that shows up on an electricity bill every month rather than once at purchase. Size where size helps. At 190 inches it clears a standard 20-foot garage bay and a typical parking stall with room to spare, and 6.7 inches is the difference between comfortable and careful in an older downtown garage. Towing, by more than double. 3,500 lbs against 1,500 is not a marginal difference: it is the line between a small utility trailer and a boat or a car trailer. If you tow, this alone decides it. Space, in the way that matters. The extra 5.8 inches of wheelbase go into the cabin, and the cargo hold is 28 and 60.8 cubic feet against 26 and 57. For a family with teenagers in the back or a regular passenger over six feet, that is felt on every trip. The honest short version: if you tow or regularly carry adults in the back, the LYRIQ solves a problem the OPTIQ cannot.
